     Setting up a web site doesn't ensure you'll build a buzz. The secret to any business success is promotion, and Internet sites can help Central New York musicians get their message out to local audiences.
     .... WRKL-FM 100.9 (K-Rock) disc jockey Bob Staffa, who promotes area bands via his radio program Backstage Live Thursdays at 11pm. Staffa maintains his own web page, www.yrbook.com/backstage/, where he posts his monthly Top 5 list of most-played albums, a complete listing of songs featured on the show, and a useful list of links.
     .... Networking musicians should log onto Able Al's Bands of New York State site which features contact information on bands from across upstate.
