Catering to the hearty Central New York musical appetite, Big D and The Tasty Cafe has become a popular favorite in local music cuisine. The basic menu offers a delicious variety of R 'n' B, electric and acoustic blues, and powerful blues/rock selections. All entrees are prepared by seasoned professionals from the hometown area, and are served up hot with a side of reggae and a spicy hint of funk.

Leading the Tasty Cafe is Dave "Big D" Schneider on electric and acoustic guitars. Big D's solid vocals are accompanied by his gourmet blend of slide, lead and rhythm playing specialties.

Cooking up the groove is Rolland Brunet on bass guitar and vocal harmonies and Ken Hart on drums, a tight rhythm section sure to please the discriminating palate. Fretman Ralph Scaffido provides a well-seasoned lead guitar, along with a virtual salad of melodic riffs and rhythms. The mixing boards of soundman Mark LaNigra balance the whole buffet.

A straightforward, no-gimmicks band, Big D and The Tasty Cafe performs covers of favorites by Delbert McClinton, Robben Ford, B.B. King, the Allman Brothers and Eric Clapton. New original recipes, such as the band's own "Don't Be Afraid" and "Solitary Woman," are added regularly while the ingredients come together for a great CD.
